Domestic pet cats are obligate carnivores, and just like their wild ancestors and present day cousins, they were meant to eat the raw flesh, bones and organs of other animals. These animals were NEVER designed to consume cooked, processed pet food. The steady diet of junk pet food most people feed their cats (and dogs too) acts over time like slow poison on their bodies, and is contributing in a big way to the massive epidemic of chronic degenerative disease that's been occurring in recent years in the domestic pet population. Most all of the pet food that comes in cans and bags is total crap and is full of some of the nastiest, foulest, most vile garbage you could ever imagine. It's utterly unfit for any living being to eat, much less a beloved furry family member.
