[NN] OT - Re: healthy diet for a cat?

Would just like to add - our cats live mainly outdoors. I used to feed them raw (waste) meat from the supermarket, they would also hunt. 1 year ago the supermarket stopped selling the pet meat & we ended up feeding them mainly canned food (we can't afford to feed them all meat) - suddenly our 11 year-old white cat got cancer on his ears & had them cut off - I believe the change in food was the culprit.
