Read some of John Taylor Gatto's books - he was a decorated public school teacher for many years and then did some investigation and found since the early 1900's there was a real conspiracy in the top government to use public education to manipulate the masses to be easier to manage - basically to believe politics is too complicated for them to comprehend so they would just listen to the media.
